At TampaTechs, we've decided to focus on building notebooks designed for mobility.  Our most popular notebooks utilize Intel® Centrino™ mobile technology due to it's extended battery life of 4 - 10 hours (depending on components), better performance than standard Pentium 4 mobile and desktop based notebooks, and innovative wireless features.

The new Intel® Centrino™ mobile technology is not a CPU or a brand of computer but it is a platform.  This platform, defined by Intel, must utilize all of the following:

• Intel Pentium-M Processor
• Intel 855 Series Chipset
• Intel 2100 Series Pro Wireless Network Solution

Each Centrino™ system is verified through Intel and issued a Centrino™ Logo.  This means that when purchasing a Centrino™ branded system you can be sure you're getting components designed for mobility.
